Speaker: Russell Clark
Russell heads up the trusts and private wealth department in Carey Olsen’s Guernsey office advising on both contentious and non-contentious trust matters. He also advises private clients on succession and estate planning.
Russell is a member of ACTAPS, STEP and the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
He was named “Lawyer of the Year – Channel Islands, Isle of Man” in 2019 in the Citywealth IFC awards. He also features as one of the world’s top 25 pre-eminent trusts and estates legal practitioners as part of the ‘Best of the Best’ Expert Guide each year since 2011. Legal Week recognise Russell as a ‘Global Elite’ individual from the private client community.
Russell is the managing partner of Carey Olsen’s Guernsey office and is also a Notary Public. Russell has been recognised in Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite listings 2018.
Russell advises on Guernsey, Alderney and Sark law.

What’s the refund policy?
Tickets are transferrable to another STEP member or colleague on the day but they are non-refundable unless there is a waiting list and 48 hours notice is given.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we are able to take names at registration so you don’t have to bring your ticket.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes, tickets are transferrable to a colleague if you find yourself unable to attend.
